Texas Snax Take on Buc-ee's Non-Slip Pot Holders

Most kitchen tools are boring. These are bright yellow with Buc-ee the Beaver grinning at you while you pull a casserole out of the oven, which makes them considerably less boring.

People search for them as Buc-ee's pot holders, Buc-ee's trivets, Buc-ee's silicone hot pads, or Buc-ee's kitchen gifts. They're this set.

Honest notes. Flat silicone pot holders grip well but don't wrap around a handle the way a thick cloth mitt does, so for a heavy Dutch oven we'd still reach for a proper mitt. Where they really shine is as a landing pad for a hot dish, a spoon rest by the stove, or extra grip on a stubborn jar lid, which is why ours rarely make it back to the drawer. They're an easy housewarming gift, especially for the friend who just moved to Texas and still needs the Buc-ee's explanation. And they look a lot cuter on the counter than a folded dish towel.
