Texas Snax Take on H-E-B Triple Chocolate Granola

Chocolate for breakfast is a hard pitch to argue with, and that's basically what this box is. It's cocoa granola with three kinds of chocolate mixed in, and it reads more like dessert than a sensible morning.

You'll see it searched as H-E-B triple chocolate granola, H-E-B chocolate granola, or H-E-B Select Ingredients granola. The best uses, in our opinion: sprinkled over vanilla yogurt, shaken over a bowl of ice cream, or eaten by the handful straight from the box during a late-night kitchen visit.

The honest part: it's sweet. If you're expecting a plain, crunchy health-food granola, this isn't that. It's a treat that happens to be granola. The chocolate pieces can soften a little if the box sits somewhere warm, so keep it in the pantry, not on a sunny counter. With cold milk it turns into something close to chocolate cereal, which might be the best compliment we can give it.
