The Buc-ee's Seatbelt Cover is a plush seatbelt pad shaped like Buc-ee the Beaver, with his head at the top, a red shirt with the Buc-ee's logo down the middle and a tail at the bottom. It wraps around the shoulder strap to cushion it on car rides.

Texas Snax Take on Buc-ee's Seatbelt Cover

Seatbelts and kids have a long, complicated relationship. The strap rubs, the kid complains, and suddenly you're on the shoulder of I-45 adjusting things. A plush Buc-ee the Beaver riding on the belt helps with the comfort part.

It's searched as the Buc-ee's seatbelt cover, the Buc-ee's seatbelt pillow, or the Buc-ee's seat belt buddy. Same plush pal.

Our honest take: this is about comfort and fun, not safety. Make sure the belt still lies flat across the shoulder and chest the way it should, and keep the cover on the shoulder strap only. For little ones still in a car seat, follow the car seat maker's rules on add-ons before using any accessory. Grown-ups like these too, especially on long drives where the belt lands right at the neck. It's also a cute gift for a new driver who could use a friendly reminder to buckle up.
