Buc-ee's Outdoor Rubber Yellow Dodgeball

Every recess had one of these: the rubber ball that stung a little when it found you. This is its sunnier cousin, bright yellow with Buc-ee the Beaver grinning on the side, which makes getting tagged out slightly more cheerful.

It gets searched as the Buc-ee's dodgeball, the Buc-ee's playground ball, the Buc-ee's kickball, or just the yellow Buc-ee's ball. Same ball.

What we like is how many games it covers. Foursquare in the driveway, wall ball at the park, keep-away at the lake house, or a backyard round of dodgeball where the adults get way more competitive than they planned. The pebbled surface is easy for small hands to grab.

Honest notes: it's rubber, not foam, so it has some bounce and some sting. For very little kids, or any game played near a TV, a softer ball is the better call. For everyone else, set the "no headshots" rule before the first throw and let Buc-ee referee.
