Buc-ee's Magnetic Travel Game Checkers & Tic-Tac-Toe

Two games every grandparent already knows how to teach. That's the beauty of this set: no rules to look up, no batteries, and a checkers game you can pause at a gas stop and pick right back up in the parking lot.

People find it as Buc-ee's checkers, Buc-ee's travel checkers or Buc-ee's tic-tac-toe.

Checkers gives older kids a real game, and tic-tac-toe is fair to the five-year-old who hasn't figured out kings yet. Having both in one box means a brother and sister with a big age gap can each find something to play.

Honest notes. Checkers takes a while, and even magnetic pieces can wander if the board slides off a lap, so a tray or a hard book underneath helps. There are small pieces, so keep it away from toddlers. And tic-tac-toe between two evenly matched players ends in a tie almost every time. That's math, not a defect.
