Folks have embarked on road trips to visit every Buc-ee's. For instance, Cody Esser visited every Texas Buc-ee's location back in June 2018 when the chain was only in the Lone Star State, and later MySA reporter Chris O'Connell did something similar back in October 2022. However, by this time the chain had expanded to other states.
Well, we decided to see what it would take to visit all the other Buc-ee's throughout the South. So, with the help of route planner website RouteXL, we plotted a route to visit every Buc-ee's outside of Texas.
Please note that we used the list of Buc-ee's locations from the chain's corporate website as of April 21, 2023. As y'all likely know, there are plenty more locations under construction. So, plotting a route to visit all Buc-ee's locations will change over time.
As y'all can see, the Auburn, Alabama Buc-ee's serves as our start and end points. This route covers 2,418 miles (3,892 kilometers) and will take y'all through the states of Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida in that order. RouteXL estimates that this trip will take 1 day, 18 hours, and 9 minutes to complete, but this trip will certainly take longer as y'all will no doubt explore each location. That's quiet the trip, but it'll certainly be worth it!
The beauty of this route is that there are 11 different pristine bathrooms along the way. If y'all plan when to eat and drink during this adventure, y'all shouldn't need to hold anything for too long as no other gas station restroom will suffice.
