FUN 🦫NEWS! Looks like @Tesla has worked very well with one of our *favorite* places to stop when we travel. @bucees in both new Braunfels and Bastrop, Texas are slated to have Tesla superchargers.

It's no secret that Buc-ee's loves all sorts of road warriors like road trippers, commuters, and joy riders (however, truckers beware). At its travel centers, there are plenty of gas pumps with cheap gas and all sorts of drinks, snacks, grub, and useful merchandise to keep drivers and passengers going alike. Further, we can't forget the spotless bathrooms that the chain is known for. Buc-ee's is no ordinary gas station or convenience store.
Well, as a big tent kind of guy, Buc-ee is broadening his appeal to even more motorists. The chain is making things easier for electric car owners -- Tesla drivers to be exact.
According to CleanTechnica, our favorite beaver is adding Tesla superchargers to his Bastrop location just outside of Austin and his New Braunfels location near San Antonio. Apparently, the Tesla Owners Club of Austin met with a car company representative back on October 12, 2020. The Tesla employee asked the club members where they would like to see charging stations, and they requested Buc-ee's. Their wishes came true about a year later.
This is just another reason to love Buc-ee's. We didn't need one, but helping environmentally conscious and clean energy advocates like Tesla owners out is wonderful.
So, if y'all were to hypothetically have a chance to request new amenities at Buc-ee's, what would y'all ask for? Let us know by commenting on this blog post or on the Texas Snax Facebook page.
