Buc-ee's Rapid Rider Tube

Floating the river is a Texas summer tradition, from the Guadalupe to the Comal. This tube brings Buc-ee the Beaver along for the ride.

People search for it as the Buc-ee's river tube, the Buc-ee's float, the Buc-ee's inner tube, or the Buc-ee's tube float. This one is the Rapid Rider.

What we like: the backrest is the difference between floating and lounging, and the grab rope gives friends something to hold onto when your group wants to drift together. The handles make it easier to haul out of the water, too. The honest notes: the listed weight capacity makes this a one-adult tube, not a two-person raft. An inflatable is for calm-water fun, not a safety device, so wear a life jacket where it's required and keep an eye on kids. Bring a pump, sunscreen and a mesh bag for your cans, and plan on coming home a little sunburned anyway. The Ultra Tube is its sibling if you want to compare.
