Buc-ee's Watermelon Sour Power Candy Belts are chewy candy strips coated in sour sugar, sold in an 8 oz (227 g) clear bag. The striped pink, white and green belts look like watermelon slices.

Texas Snax Take on Buc-ee's Watermelon Sour Power Candy Belts

Candy belts are built for sharing in the car. Tear off a strip, pass the bag back, repeat for the next 200 miles. The watermelon ones have pink, white and green stripes, so they look the part too.

They're searched as Buc-ee's sour belts, Buc-ee's Sour Power belts or sour watermelon belts. Same chewy strips. The lineup also includes Strawberry, Berry Blue and Quattro, plus Dill Pickle for the brave.

The honest note: these taste sour first and sweet second. If you liked the Watermelon Sour Gummies but wanted more pucker, consider this the step up. The coating is generous, so expect sugar crystals on your fingers, your shirt and the seat. Belts are long and a little stretchy, so the youngest kids may need help tearing off a piece. Dill Pickle is the dare. Watermelon is the safe bet that still has some attitude.
