Buc-ee's Cotton Candy Saltwater Taffy is a 12 oz (340 g) bag of individually wrapped light blue taffy. The bag is labeled artificially flavored, and the sweet, fairground-style flavor is a hit with kids.

Texas Snax Take on Buc-ee's Cotton Candy Saltwater Taffy (12 oz Bag)

Cotton candy is a fair food and saltwater taffy is a boardwalk candy, so this bag is basically a carnival you can fit in a purse.

People search for it as Buc-ee's cotton candy taffy, Buc-ee's saltwater taffy or blue Buc-ee's taffy. It's the light blue bag in the taffy lineup.

Why we like it: individually wrapped taffy is the perfect candy dish candy. It's easy to grab just one, and kids love unwrapping them. It also makes a good party favor filler or piñata add-in.

Honest notes: taffy is chewy, really chewy, so it's not a friend to braces or loose fillings. In our opinion it's all sweet with no tang, so if you want a little bite, the Sour Saltwater Taffy or Watermelon Saltwater Taffy might suit you better. A hot car will turn the pieces soft and stretchy, so keep the bag cool. And the wrappers pile up fast, so pack a trash bag for the road.

Features

  • Cotton candy flavor: Light blue pieces with a sweet spun-sugar taste.
  • Individually wrapped: Each piece is twisted in its own wrapper, so the bag works well for a candy dish or sharing.
  • Soft, chewy taffy: Classic saltwater taffy that pulls and chews slowly.
  • 12 oz bag: About 11 servings of 5 pieces each.
  • Clear-window bag: A stand-up bag with a hang hole and the Buc-ee the Beaver logo on the front.

  • Net weight: 12 oz (340 g)
  • Servings: About 11 per container; serving size 5 pieces (30 g), 120 calories
