Buc-ee's Ultra Tube

Texans take floating seriously. A summer day on the Guadalupe, the Comal or the San Marcos is close to a state sport, and this tube lets you do it with Buc-ee the Beaver grinning up at the sky from every side.

People look for it as the Buc-ee's float, the Buc-ee's river tube, the Buc-ee's pool float or the Buc-ee's inner tube. Same tube.

A few honest notes from people who float. Sixty inches is roomy, so bring a pump rather than your lungs. The mesh bottom means you're sitting in the water, which feels great in July and a little bracing in early May. There's one cup holder, so choose your drink wisely. The grab rope is the best part on a group trip: link everyone up and the whole crew drifts along as one big Buc-ee's flotilla. It's a float, not a life jacket, so pack proper flotation for kids and anyone who isn't a confident swimmer.
