H-E-B That Green Sauce is a creamy, pale green salsa rated Mild, sold in an 11 oz (312g) glass jar. The label shows jalapeño and poblano peppers and marks it gluten free.

Texas Snax Take on H-E-B "That Green Sauce"-Mild

Mild is not a dirty word. This is the version of That Green Sauce for kids, spice-shy guests and anyone who wants flavor without a sweat break.

You still get the creamy green salsa people go looking for when they search H-E-B green sauce, That Green Sauce mild or H-E-B creamy salsa. It's the jar we'd put out at a family breakfast taco bar, since nobody gets ambushed by heat.

Honest notes. If you already love spicy food, you may find Mild a little tame, and the Medium is right there for you. It's a smooth sauce, so it drizzles more than it scoops; on a chip, think dip rather than chunky salsa. Refrigerate it after opening and follow the label for how long it keeps. It's especially good over scrambled eggs, and nobody will stop you from putting it on a burger.
