Texas Snax Take on H-E-B Café Olé Breakfast Blend Ground Coffee

Breakfast blends get a reputation for being weak and forgettable. This one is a medium roast, so it has more backbone than the name suggests.

It's the Café Olé Organics version, made with organic Arabica and no added flavors, which makes it the plain, reliable bag in a lineup full of pecan and pumpkin. People search for it as H-E-B organic coffee, Café Olé Organics Breakfast Blend or H-E-B Breakfast Blend ground coffee.

Honest notes. If you're used to light-roast breakfast blends, this will taste a little fuller. Ground coffee loses its freshness faster than whole bean, so roll the bag tight or move it to an airtight container once it's open. Follow the brew ratio on the bag and adjust from there; a little more coffee is the easy fix if it tastes thin. It's the bag we'd keep around for houseguests with no strong coffee opinions.
