The Buc-ee's "Established 1982" Hat is an olive green cap with a mesh crown, a flat brim and white rope trim. The front patch reads "BUC-EE'S" in black with "ESTABLISHED 1982" in orange below.

Texas Snax Take on Buc-ee's "Established 1982" Hat

Buc-ee's dates itself to 1982, and this hat puts that right on the front, in orange, on an olive cap that looks like it belongs on a fishing boat.

The rope across the brim, the mesh crown and the flat bill give it a retro outdoorsy look that's a little different from the usual Buc-ee's trucker. People search for it as the Buc-ee's 1982 hat, the Buc-ee's rope hat, or the olive green Buc-ee's cap. It's quiet enough for a weekend at the lake and still says exactly where you stop for gas.

Honest notes. The flat brim is a style choice. Some folks love it straight and some curve it on day one. Either works.
