Hot Buc-ee Summer

Summer officially starts June 21, but who cares?  Life's too short to wait any longer to initiate "Hot Girl Summer" mode.

Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion coined the phrase, and it took off when she included it on her 2019 album Fever.  So, what does it mean?  Stallion defined it for The Root by stating: "It's just basically about women — and men — just being unapologetically them... not giving a damn about what nobody got to say about it. You definitely have to be a person that can be the life of the party."

This certainly sounds like Stallion's fellow Texan Buc-ee, who is also from the Houston area just like Queen Beyoncé and Lizzo.  Buc-ee loves bad jokes, bold colors, treats, sweets, and meats as well as putting other gas station institutions to shame with huge travel centers, cheap gas, and sparkling clean potties.  This mascot has the confidence to not care about what others thinks.  He lives life to the fullest year round, but he certainly excels at summer.  So, how is Buc-ee's empowering you to have a "Hot Girl Summer?"

Beach and Pool Gear

We were just able to roll out the swimsuit line.  You can grab yourself a suit for women, men, boys, girls, and babies.  There are one piece and two piece options for the ladies.

Tangent: There are only regular shorts options for the guys.  Not that there's anything wrong with that perfectly valid choice of swimwear, but we're talking about confidently living life to the fullest.  For instance, the Venn Diagram of Buc-ee's fans and obnoxious southern frat boys likely has a large overlap.  Thus, if you put a frat boy on a beach or near a pool with some booze (liquid confidence), him sporting a speedo is certainly a possibility.  That dude likely lost a bet.  Why not allow him to show his Buc-ee fandom at the same time?  Oh yeah... Let's not forget lap swimmers; many of those fellas are probably devotees who would get a kick out of donning Buc-ee's branded briefs.    

Further, as we've mentioned, the Florida stores are selling Buc-ee's boogie boards.  If y'all want some of those, fill out the request form.  If the travel center near our Plano, TX warehouse carries them, we'll happily resell and ship them to y'all.

Drinks

Don't forget the insulated drink tumblers that not only keep hot drinks hot, they also keep cold drinks cold.  Regardless if y'all are dealing with Texas heat or heat elsewhere, keeping one's beverage cold is essential.

BBQ

Buc-ee has y'all covered there as well.  From the portable grills and smokers to rubs and sauces, not only can y'all have your meats, you can grill and eat it at the pool or beach to boot.

Fashion

From stylish tank tops to hats, Buc-ee's has seasonally appropriate clothing to choose from.

Patriotism

Keep an eye on our seasonal section.  As a proud American, Buc-ee shows it through shirts, drink bottles, and other merch adorned with red, white, and blue with fireworks, stars, and stripes.  'merica!
